Hello Everyone!
My goodness what a Thanksgiving feast! Thank you to everyone
who participated in our Thanksgiving lunch yesterday. Great times and good food was had by all!
This week in Math we finished Chapter Six: Measurement Concepts, and will have our
chapter test on Monday. In Language Arts
we completed the Nature’s Fury Theme test, worked on writing our own Tall
Tales, and completed some other theme wrap up activities. In Social Studies we started a discussion on
what it means to have been an enslaved African person in the Civil War era United States . In Science we have completed our lesson on
how plants move materials. If you would like to preview anything with your son
or daughter, we will be doing the following next week:

- Chapter 6 Units of Measure Test

Ways you can help
your child this weekend:
- Help your Son or daughter review for the Chapter 6 Math Test
- Review Vocabulary and Spelling lists.
- Encourage your child to read at least twenty minutes a day in English.
