This week in Math we have finished Chapter 10: Adding and Subtracting Fractions. We will review and do our Chapter 10 test after the break.  In Language Arts this week we read two new selections; one called Iditarod Dream, the other Me, Mop, and the Moondance Kid.  In Social Studies we continued working on researching Chile for International Week.   In Science we continued with Lesson 3 in Chapter 7.  If you would like to preview anything with your son or daughter, we will be doing the following after the break:

Ways you can help your child over the holiday:

• Review Math Chapter 10:  Adding and Subtracting Fractions
• Encourage your son or daughter to read twenty minutes a day in English.

A friendly reminder to everyone that class starts at H.I.S. at 8:20 AM.  Students should arrive before 8:20 AM so they have time to unpack their bags and be ready to learn at 8:20 AM.
